Community Mural Vote
The Wahoo Area Arts Council is proud to bring a new mural to downtown Wahoo on the west side of the Eagles building.
As our very first public art project, we want the community to help choose the final design with a chance to vote from May 18-22nd.
Winning design will be announced on Saturday, May 23rd on our social media.

Mural Concept #1 - “Wahoo in Full Color”
Bold, bright, and full of hometown pride, this design celebrates some of Wahoo’s most recognizable landmarks- featuring the caboose at the Saunders County Historical Society, the historic courthouse, and the great state of Nebraska with a shining star right where Wahoo belongs.
Mural Concept #2 - “All Roads Lead to Wahoo”
Inspired by the natural beauty and welcoming spirit of our community, this design features Lake Wanahoo, the iconic Wahoo arrow, and the native grasses and wildflowers that make Nebraska landscapes so special.
Missoula Children’s Theatre Residency
The Little Mermaid
Join us for a weeklong theater residency with Missoula Children’s Theater teaching students how to perform a full-length musical performance
Registration opens at 10:00 a.m.
Spaces are limited.
Available for children going into 1st-12th grades.
$30 per student for Wahoo Area Arts Council Members, $50 per student for non-members.
